Parent Involvement Equals Student Success
BCS Partners With Parents To Grow Spiritually Strong Kids
PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship) Events Allow Parents To Be A Part of A BCS Serving Community Parents help students connect to parent, grandparents and other students through fun events. Check our 2020-21 events and learn more about how you can help!
Athletic Events Open Up Social Engagement Opportunities and Needed Income Parents and their students can volunteer at athletic events to bring much-needed income to our programs through being gate keepers and concession helpers. The jobs have the extra benefit of training moments for younger children on customer care and hospitality. It is also a great way to make some new friends! Since BCS has limited resources, we rely on all of our community to pull together to make each event a success.
BCS Partners with Parents to Model Spiritual Commitment:
BCS parents value strong spiritual influences in their children's lives. BCS teachers and staff are committed to helping children in these areas as well as their academic pursuits. It is not uncommon to hear about a teacher taking time to pray with a student and offer wise counsel and emotional support on the BCS campus.
We partner with families on their spiritual journey and bring support through prayer, chapel services, and Bible work (including memorizing scripture). We encourage continued interaction at home as parents help younger kids memorize verses and help older children "unpack" more challenging passages.
